FUNDAMENTALS

The Fundamentals class introduces students to the core mechanics and safety principles of each weapon type. Training begins with proper grip, posture, and movement patterns before progressing to basic strikes, blocks, and footwork. Controlled partner drills develop timing and distance management without contact, ensuring a safe and educational environment. Students will cycle through weapon categories to gain a foundational understanding of stick, knife, sword, and improvised tool application. Emphasis is placed on flow, accuracy, and situational awareness. This class is ideal for beginners or anyone looking to reinforce essential skills.
INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED

The Intermediate and advance classes builds on the foundational skills with more complex drills, disarm tactics, and flow combinations. Emphasis is placed on transitioning between weapon types and integrating empty-hand responses. Controlled sparring with a Synthetic Training Weapon is introduced to safely apply techniques in dynamic situations. Students will also explore improvised weapons more deeply, learning how to adapt everyday items for protection under pressure. The class reinforces technical precision while cultivating adaptability and strategic thinking.
